Naples from an exceptional perspective.
The sumptuous and hidden villas, the descents to the sea, the cliffs overlooking the water, the elegant buildings, the breathtaking panorama make it a must for tourists at the same time. small part, because there are also other secret underground wonders, kept for those who want to really discover them, such as
underground Naples, the Museum of the Underground or the Bourbon Tunnel. You initially walk along the Naples seafront, touching the magical original nucleus of the city, Castel dell’Ovo with its Marinari village, continuing west on via
Caracciolo, the popular district of
Mergellina and the elegant
Chiaia, a place for strolls on the shore to the sea, shopping and nightlife. Not to be missed is a visit to
San Gregorio Armeno, one of the most famous streets in the city thanks to the shops dedicated to traditional nativity scenes. Each shop is filled with religious and secular figures, details created to perfection and lucky pepper. Have fun finding well-known faces such as that of Totó or celebrities of the moment and be amazed by the incredible attention to detail. You can head to
Spaccanapoli which is one of the largest city arteries, as well as one of the most picturesque streets in Naples. It is called this because it literally cuts the city in two.
The symbol of Naples is certainly Piazza Plebiscito, a large space overlooked by the Pontifical Royal Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, the Palazzo della Prefettura, Palazzo Salerno and the Royal Palace of Naples.
ADVICE: Before reaching the square, I suggest you stop and enter the oldest Caffè Gambrinus in the city.
Our tour continues to the Phlegraean Fields, moving west from Naples. Visiting the Campi Flegreis means traveling into the past, a unique experience in a place that has 25 archaeological sites concentrated in a territory of a few square kilometers, some of the most prestigious testimonies in history of all time, but also a geological and marine environment of inestimable value.
After the visit, we will leave the city along the fertile
Vesuvius Valley and skirting the villages of
Herculaneum, Torre del Greco, and Torre Annunziata, up to
Pompeii.
Before exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii, it’s time to relax and fully enjoy the flavors of this land with its typical dishes.
After having recharged your energy, in the afternoon the archaeological visit of the ancient city begins.
Buried by a blanket of ash and lapilli due to a sudden eruption of Vesuvius in 70 AD
Pompeii has come back to light after almost 1700 years and as if by magic the daily life of an ordinary day in the early imperial age has remained crystallized in its gestures, in its secrets, in the panic of the last moments. You can walk among the cobbles that paved the streets of ancient Pompeii, admiring the ancient geometric and floral mosaics that embellished the floor decorations.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating historical and architectural scope of the Forum, the Temple of Apollo, the Lupanaras and the ancient Amphitheater that hosted the bloody battles of the Gladiators. The excavations have brought to light a fascinating archaeological site part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Curiosity: The current Mount Vesuvius was not the real architect of the destruction of Pompeii. It was in fact Mount Somma, which now stands on the side of the main crater, that exploded in 79 AD. and become the executioner of the history of Ancient Pompeii.
The magnificent day ends with the return to the hotel or to the agreed point.

Customers say about us
We had Paolo for two days and were glad of it. My foot was injured so I was using an ace bandage and a cane. Paolo considered and planned the trip in a way that made it possible to enjoy it. He is personable and knows his home turf. I would use this service again!
This was one of the best days we had during our two weeks in Italy . Paulo was our driver for several days and was amazing .
He was accommodating , flexible and friendly.
When we got off at wrong traini station in Naples.. no problem .. Paulo came and got us !
His love of the Amalfi Coast is evident and you experience that when your travel with this tour. He is an excellent driver and we felt safe. His restaurant recommendations were the best! We can’t wait to return !
Friends in Westchester, NY highly recommended Paolo to us and he did not disappoint :) We went somewhere different every day with Paulo (Mon-Thurs) including a very early morning ride to Naples airport Friday. Paolo is very warm and friendly, so knowledgeable and has great recommendations. He really puts his all into his clients and personalizes the experiences...that’s huge! Highlights include: Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast drive (of course), lunch in Ravello with an amazing view, shopping in Sorrento & Positano, and listening to Paolo talk about the history, the countryside and his family. Definitely ask for Paolo!!
Paulo was recommended to us by friends in our community. We now join the chorus of people, some of them our friends, who deservedly have posted rave reviews of Paolo. My wife and I took an amazing 10 trip to the Amalfi coast (3 days in Sorrento and Capri, 3 days in Positano and 4 days in Ravello). Paolo helped us get back and forth from the airport and from one hotel to another. We also spent a whole day with Paolo visiting the small quaint villages between Ravello and Salerno. While planning the trip in the US, I was in constant email contact with Paolo, getting ideas and feedback from Paolo every step of the way. Paolo was amazingly informative, courteous, helpful and generous of his time for an unpaid service. I always got the feeling from Paolo that he was proud of this little strip of heaven called the Amalfi coast and that his mission/motivation was to share it with the rest of us. His enthusiasm is contagious and we grew to love the food, the culture and the people of this amazing region.
My wife and I always felt that Paolo was taking care of us and his sole goal was to maximize our experience in Amalfi. Paolo gave us insights and information about what it is like to be a local which we always enjoyed. He was entertaining but always intuitively knew when to give us our own space. Paolo was always flexible with our itinerary and willing to add/delete something as requested.
Paolo took us on a full day trip to the tiny little villages between Ravello and Salerno including Minori, Maiori, Cetara and Vietre Sul Mare. We wanted to experience the real Amalfi, beyond the tourist traps, where the locals live.
Paolo completely customized the tour. Paolo took us to some shops in Maiori that were off the beaten path and he took us to an amazing thousand-year old castle on a mountain top in Minori. We ate the fresh figs, grapes and carob off the trees as we walked through the gardens of the remote castle. Amazing experience that is not at all touristy. During the 2 hours we were there, we saw only 2 other couples. He took us to a plaque in Cetara which memorializes the Jews of this town who were forced to leave their homes during the holocaust (nobody knows about this plaque). We shared a lunch of fresh salads, fried anchovies and pasta with Paolo in Cetara. Paolo took pictures of us as we walked on the the deserted beach in Vietre Sul Mare at sunset.
We can't say enough about Paolo. He was amazing and helped make this trip truly spectacular.
